INSPECTION TOURS

Inspection tours are good ways of looking around various different properties in one go. They are a way for you to get to know the area you are thinking of buying in. They usually consist of a 3 or 4 day round trip within which you gain an insight to the area you are hoping to buy in. This is all done by the agency that you choose to go through. There is usually a small fee to pay for undertaking an inspection tour (average prices around 150-200 pounds sterling per person) but from his fee you will get your flights and accommodation paid for, your main meals included and the agency should pick you up from the airport and drive you around to look at the properties.

Inspection tourA typical inspection tour will have you flown out to your chosen area and then you will be collected from the airport and taken to your hotel room. Then you will be given a couple of hours to refresh yourself from the flight and then usually you will be taken around the area and looking at all of the different aspects of it. Then for dinner you will usually be taken to a local restaurant to be wined and dinned in what could potentially become your local place to eat. On the second day of your inspection tour you will usually start looking at some properties that have been selected by the agency you can look around them and ask as many questions about the properties as you like. For lunch you will again be taken to a local restaurant to sample some more Spanish cuisine. After this you will look around some more properties and then you will be taken back to your hotel for time to recuperate and to discuss amongst yourselves the properties you have seen. Then again in the evening an evening meal will be provided. The third day of your inspection tour will go pretty much the same as the second with you looking around properties and discussing the positive and negative points of the properties . On your final day you can o for further inspections or you have the opportunity to re-look at some of the properties that you have already looked at. You will be taken back to the airport and then the choice is yours as to whether you want to TAKE FURTHER YOUR INTEREST IN ANY OF THE PROPERTIES.

Should you decide that inspection tours are the way that you would like to go about searching for your property in Spain you need to think about what is important to you when looking at properties . The clearer idea you have of the type of property you are looking to purchase the clearer idea the agency have and therefore they can have the most appropriate properties available for you to look at. This will mean that you wont waste your time inspecting properties that are nothing like you want.
